Welcome to our favorite place on earth. We are so happy to share the farmhouse at Wolfehaven with you. 2025 is a big year for us because the home officially turns 100 years old! It was built in 1925 and has seen so much life move through its halls. Long ago, the main house on the property was torn down, but our home remained strong. It is now a cozy Vacation Rental 15 Minutes from Downtown Asheville.

For a full century, it served as a place for farm workers and their families to rest. Some stayed for a few months, and some stayed for many years at a time. You can feel that history when you walk inside. It does not feel like a cold hotel. It feels like a home that has been loved and used for a very long time.

The farm sits in a sheltered valley where the air feels a bit cooler and the noise of the city fades away. A working farm surrounds the property on all sides. We manage the land for both crops and timber, so the view changes with the seasons. Sometimes the fields are full of green life, and other times the tall trees take center stage.

Biltmore Estate: One of the most famous spots in the area is only a 15-minute drive.
Blue Ridge Parkway: Access to the most scenic road in the country is just 5 to 10 minutes away.

You can also find grocery stores, local restaurants, and the Tanger Outlet Mall within 10 minutes. If you are flying in, the Asheville Airport is only 15 minutes from the farm. We are even close to the best breweries in the area.

You can spend the day in the city or on a trail and be back on the porch for sunset. It is the perfect home base for any kind of trip. You don't have to spend your whole vacation in a car. Everything you need is right around the corner.

What Guests Notice That Photos Cannot Show

A photo can show you a room, but it cannot show you the sunrise. Guests always tell us that the front porch is their favorite spot. It is very spacious and looks out over the whole property. In the morning, you can sit there with a cup of coffee and watch the light hit the valley. It is so quiet you can hear the wings of our resident Redtail hawks as they fly over. You might see a deer or a turkey grazing near the timber. These moments stay with you.

The recent storm, Helene, was very hard on Western North Carolina. We saw a lot of damage in the areas around us. However, we were very lucky and blessed. Our home and structures only received minor damage. We are fully open and ready for you to come visit! Asheville is a strong community, and the best way to help is to come and see us. The local shops and restaurants are ready for guests.
